Space Gallery ‘Ember’ Exhibition 2025

In June, Space Gallery in Whanganui issued a Open Exhibition call around the theme ‘Ember’. In this exhibition, fire is explored as both subject and/or medium.

I presented the work below accompanied by the following artist statement:
”Like an ember in a fading fire, a loved one reignites joy, sparks hope, and offers steady warmth and light. In our coldest moments, their gentle glow guides us back to comfort, meaning, and purpose.”
